It's not too bad...i only work every second week.

Still hoping to get in a few rides this year, as well as Northriders rally.

Ron your GPS cradle is made by Garmin? I would pay money for something like that . The cradles I have been using failed 3 times now. The Ram mount with the ball system is great, but the cradles can't take it.
Right now I am trying to get my KLR back up running.

Great news Ron. Like I said, I am willing to pay $$$ even though I do ride a KLR

I got it going this morning. Looks good so far, did a 20 km loop up in the mine.
That water pump seal assembly is quite a cockle mania assembly for sure.
Backroader Greg: bring all your unwanted / unused /still good > ADV books DVDs and related stuff to the rally for the big free raffle. Winners must be in attendance to claim prizes.
I have quite a few items in the raffle bag already.

Alright, have some Internet access. The trials was great. Really neat experience to be part of the team and be involved in all what is going on. Met Toni Bou, seen some amazing rides. The obstacles in pictures don't come close to giving you the experience or feeling when there. Plus, seeing lesser riders (that are still really good, just not part if top ten) gives some perspective on how hard it is. Sections were laid out close to town and really easy access for spectators. Most neat for me was seeing the woman's trial. It was just so cool to see. Many of them quite small, but they were hoping bikes from rock to rock like nobody's business!

Little town hosting all got involved, every store "chose" a country to showcase and had bikes in the displays or stores - even clothing stores, butcher shops, etc. Big parade, they had a large group of elementary kids for each country doing cheers - very cool.

Jordan Szoke had his kid there with him, those of you following super bike racing in Canada will know who he is. He was one of the team Canada riders.

Those are some of the pics I took on my phone. I have more on my camera and even some likely decent shirt video clips - but have to wait till get back to computer to download those.

Meanwhile travelled to Austria - took my bike gear along. But KTM changed their policies and I wasn't able to get a bike to ride from them anymore :-( had asked for their new Adventure.

But, my sister who lives here is lending me hers.

It's really fun to ride here. Perfect roads. Little back roads all paved for some good sportly riding.

The road below had a warning sign about "broken pavement" - being from the prairies this had quite a different meaning for me than the local road maintenance guys!

Also neat was how I got to Austria. Drove to south of France (Montpellier) with one of the riders, swam in the cote d'azur

Then took some trains to Lyon then on to Salzburg. French TGV trains rock! Well, actually they DON'T rock. Cruising around 250 km/h at times more while I drink Franziskaner Weiss bier, my favourite poured into a beer glass that the drink hardly vibrates in the glass. Super smooth and quiet trains. In passenger seating area you're not allowed to talk on cell phones - they have designated areas for that. I upgraded to 1st class for 20 euro - good deal, big wide searts, lots of leg room, etc. Sat in double decker on top floor.

Welcome, maybe we will catch up with in Thunder Bay next week. There are a number of us Dual Sport riders heading to the Northern Ontario Rally.

Finally got the panniers I have been wanting since I got my F800. Picked up and installed my new Jesse Odyssey II bags today

Lots of room (105 litres combined) and the fit nice a close to the bike. They look wide but are exactly the same width as the handle bars with barkbusters.
