Lucky I spied this before I went for a ride today. Pulled it out and sprayed the hole with soapy water. No bubbles so it only penetrated the tread block. I felt lucky.

Had a similar situation a couple of years ago. Found a Ford Ignition key jammed into the tire on my GS. Pulled it out with plyers... No leak..

Hey Gord - is the Jackfish bridge open yet? I'm at the Wawa Motor Inn right now. Rode from Penetanguishene, ON to Wawa, ON - and every minute of it seemed to be with strong headwinds. I'm ready for bed. I've been fighting off something too - so I feel like crap. Small displacement bikes are challenging to tour on at the best of times. So when a multitude of other factors are against you - it isn't fun. Hopefully - I'll feel better for the ride back home tomorrow. I've been on the road over the past 10 days at the annual CBR125R rally (in Calabogie, ON) this year. Need lots of sleep. And Diane. :)

Looks like it's open now Mike. Should have let me know you were coming in. I could have hosted another rider. I raced on some calabogie trails on the way to Dacre last weekend.

Thanks Gord - I was actually planning on staying over-night at White Lake Provincial Park. But I was completely out of gas (physically ha..ha..) when I hit Wawa. You know it's gotta be bad when I choose to stay at a motel and forego my usual ritual of camping outdoors! :)

BTW - the paved roads just west of Calabogie are the most fun and twisty with changes in elevation - riding roads I've ever encountered in Ontario. It's like Ontario's version of the Tail of the Dragon. I particularly liked highway 28 to Dunbigh and then onward onto Matawatchan Rd/Centennial Lake Road. Lots of fun.

BTW2 - Congratulations on the 2nd place finish in the Paris to Dacre. Really impressive Gord!

Mike

In Wawa on the CBR150R. The side-racks work perfectly. Not sure how I'd be able to live without them now. I'll be leaving for home in about 10 minutes.

Glad to hear about the racks. Not glad to hear you are feeling crappy. Maybe Diane can fix that!
