Have modified mine this winter. Not all the mods listed are not seen, but here's what 'ive done so far:

- OTR-SR 2in1 exhaust
- Touratech brake fluid container cover
- Touratech sidestand switch cover
- Touratech tank bag
- Acerbis Neoprene Fork Cover
- OTR modified gear lever
- OTR Foam air filter kit
- Acerbis Enduro front fender
- OTR Windscreen
- Wilbers progressive front springs, with SAE 15W oil
- OTR front- and rear axle crash pads
- OTR chain tensioners
- OTR engine guard 4mm aluminium
- 30mm handlebar risers
- 30mm rear raising kit
- Motech Evo rack (modified)
- Trax Alu Box 2x45L + 38L (optional Bags Connection soft rear bag)
- RAM mount for Garmin GPS
- 12V "lighter" adapter underseat
- 5L water carrier (not on picture)
- rerouted engine breather hose with Simon Racing filter (keeps bad air and oil out of airbox)
- blocked AIS

Dont try this @home I was pretty close (2cm) from snorkel sucking in water.

The first pic was made in winter, so far no visual changes made, except for the tyres, which are much knobbier at the moment.

Well, yes and no. I just came from a trip (4500km) and I use the bike for everyday riding, also. Next years trip will be around 10 000km, im planning to change the tank to a larger one and put a new rear shock before that. Also concidering a PowerCommander5 + autotuner setup and new clamps with a steering damper. I would like to do it ALL, but, its all about benjamins (read: $$$) and me not having them so many ;)

Question

I'm curious about the vibes at the handlebars and footpegs on the 660. How are they at 3k rpm and above? My old XT buzzes like a buzzsaw over 60 mph. Only thing that keeps me from riding Long Distances. Are the footpegs rubber or rubber mounted? I got some rubbers from a DRZ but they aren't large enough.

I have ridden an older XT, the new XT is completely different, engine is well balanced, I hardly notice any vibrations. 60mph is definitely not a problem.

Footpegs are like on almost every other bike, metal, with rubber coating. They could be bigger though.
I had Fastway footpegs (http://www.promotobillet.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/23) on my previous bike and they were amazing.
