Not my bike, waiting to get the studs on my XTZ. My friends on a XT660R and a XT600E was nice (hmm) to send me this pic taken on the frozen sea of the Bothnian Bay last winter:

Hi Crazydog,

Great pics, good to see another chap of my vintage having fun on an XT660R. Couple of questions if you dont mind,

1. Type of tyre?
2. The orange headlight cover, bought or home made?
3. Standard sprockets or have you fiddled?

Finally, where did you take those pics?

Cheers,

Dickyb

My XT now

Hi,

Here pictures of my XT on a day out in the snow. Spent more time crashing than riding.

Alexis.

Am not quite sure how to add more than one attachment, so hope this will not get me penalized.

I've mounted a 26liter fiberglass tank on my 660R. I was a bit tricky, but now i got around 260km's of fuel. (my powercommander (PC) is a bit thirsty).

Guess wifout the PC u can get more than 300km/tank. But the XT just runs SO much better wif the PC

Did you just say you are getting 10km per liter? On a 50 HP, sub 200kg fuel injected bike?
