Both the front and rear are Michelin T63's. They are as good as the TKC but not as costly IMO.

Good,
We can't find this model in Brazil, Michelin only sells Anakees and Siracs...

I also considering a Teneré instead as it feels like a more modern bike, but I like the R as well... torn as usual :)

Hi Imphy
the 2 into 1 exhausts are available from a few places. The system I went with is from "Off the Road" in Germany. Really nice quality and an excellent fit especially important when fitting them myself.
I think the XTR is a great all rounder and I would definitely buy another.
Cheers

Great!
We have one with 22 liters here, I'm using, but, this one is very very good.
In some trips here, I have to carry more gas, because we don't have gas stations, specially in Cordillera de Los Andes.

Not really a big problem here in Denmark - never more than 30 click to the next gasstation.

By the way ... this weekend i attended a 2 day driving course with alot of touring and roadracing MC's. Actually mannaged to scrabe the footrests/pegs in some of the corners :) Knobby tires arn't all that bad os asfalt guys. I mannaged to get almost ALL of my Michellin T63's to have contact wif the asfalt. Except for the last 2 mm

May your roads be dusty and full of adventure !

Pete - Denmark

Help... Hyde - bashplate and windscreen

Godday...

Does anyone have experience with Hyde Racing´s bashplate for the 660:

Is it strong enough for direct impacts (rocks...) and how is the protection of the coolant pump?

+ Does anyone have a picture of the Hyde windscreen?... Is it any good?

http://www.hyderacing.com/store/adve...yamaha/660.htm

Cheers...

I did a short write-up on adding a 12v relay to the XTR for turning off electrical accessories when the ignition is switched off.
