Not a ride report...

But of interest. I actually was a t a loss where this goes..

Despite the poor writing and the typos this is still useful info. unlike a lot of MCNs other stuff.

Chopper...hope I can file this away under "have knowledge...don't need". Definitely learned something that could come in handy.

By the way...how's the shoulder and wrists? Ready to hit the road again? (Sorry...no pun intended) Hope so.

Interesting Article

Thanks Chopperman...
Interesting article. This guy was pretty lucky, guess I need to be nicer to my kid's doctor.

Everything is coming back together. Slowly. I have a good range of motion in my shoulder. The wrists still hurt like a mofo. Maybe if I didn't have to write comments on 3 30 page docs, and my own performance review, they would complain a bit less.

The bike is fixed and I'm gonna ride it tomorrow.

It really is a bitch how work seems to infringe on the things you really want to do and enjoy. Obviously you are not getting your sympathy quotient filled at work. I'm sure Mrs. Chopper is takin good care of you though! Glad your gonna get back out so quick.

Oh I got a couple days of dopery out of work and the missus was real nice. until she got the flu. then I had to get out of the house. know what I mean?

Heck I am jonesing to ride. I ride every single day. rain or shine. and to not ride for two weeks is a kind of torture

There's a great old saying that goes "How can I miss you if you never go away?" (Several ex-wives thought it was pretty funny!) Sounds like you and riding. Try not to shift or brake too much...it'll be hard on the wrists. Just get up to bat-out-of-hell speed and enjoy!

Chop - Great article. That one's a keeper.

Razor - I don't know if we can post it or not - remember Helge's fit over posting his picture... Perhaps a link with a summary. Either way, it's a great read and some very useful information that I hope I'll never need.

I don't think I remember the last time I went two weeks without riding. Maybe it was a trip to see the inlaws in ATL and I didn't rent a bike. I was going absolutely fucking stircrazy. The day after we got back, I went for a 650 mile local ride

What an asshole.
I have always thought him an asshole since he stuck a flyer for his "worship me, worship my slides" circle jerk on my bike. I shoudl send him a bill for defacing my bike. I stuffed it in the urinal in teddy's tavern instead. Hope he enjoys water sports. fuckhead.

Hmph the pic is still there.
I would have ripped it out and left a space with:

"This space is where a certain book would be RECOMMENDED if it weren't for the author being a mercenary jackass"

but Bandy is a lot nicer than me.

dayum what a slap in the face that was. the noive.

doh! that should be "Baldy".

but now I have to decide if I should fix it or leave it. If I fix it, Fish's response will make no sense....hmm.
