Looking at the topography I would say you are a little to the north and a tad to the west of Mt Hotham.

Gettin' closer

After 2 hours I was so excited to see a sign and an intersection, I just had to take a pic.

It's impossible to explain to ocean cruise people why this kind of place draws many of us. I don't even know why myself, but the beers at the end of these roads are the best ever.

You're within the 100km rule, so no prize. Good going mate. Say hi to the guys at the fire station next time you're riding by it.

Hey Hill Billy, those pics around Ross River look like sensational tracks.

The most fun 20km I've ridden so far is on the north end of the Cordillo Downs road, from the QLD border to just before the Birdsville Dovelop' Hwy. Anyone out there familiar with that snakey track of sand?

Someone else want to post a location photo?

Even empty the lakes are worth the ride out.

Sure are Dys. The rains came soon after the above photo, and foiled my plans to ride around Mungo, Mootwinge and Cams Corner that year (spring '05).

OK one more try. I'm running out of pics. Who knows where this historic site is?
