70 degrees In MA on 1-06-2007

It was 70 degrees (normal would be 30) on Sat. when I took this ride up through the hilltowns of Western Mass into Vt.
Here are a few pictures from the ride. Enjoy

The air was so warm and the river so cold there was fog at 2:30 in the afternoon.

Mud season has begun.

I got to the top of the hill when i saw this coming.

So I needed to go to the blue.

The storm chasing me home.

And I made it with a few minutes to spare.

Mud Art!!!!!!!

Nice pictures. I usually ride on clear streets to Super Bowl parties, but this year...

Looks like a great ride... save for that yukky mud! We sure are having an unusual winter in the north east. Thanks for posting

Great photos. I heard 3rd week in January we will get the normal winter weather and that was on the internet so it must be true.

But I really hope it doesn't last into June, uugh!

I agree, nice shots, I've got to get a handle on the photo stuff!
I think we were on many of the same roads, I got chased by the same shower and had just enough time to get the suds out to let nature do the final rinse.

Monk!

Wow, Bob, I wish I would have gone with you! Next time, shoot me an e-mail or call me at work, 413-967-3117 ex350. I would bail for that any time!
I rode 20 miles yesterday in the tight tight stuff and I was beat. I just spooned on a new knobby so I would hate to burn it up on the pavement, but I will have my dual sport rubber on come spring.
I don't know if I could keep up on my lowly DRZ but I sure would give it a try!

Last 2 weeks in January

Come back and read this at the end of January. A HUGE cold front is beginning to drop down from the North. We will all be shivvering; even the southern riders.
