Hey Willy have you tried the 'ol film strip trick?

Dirt eventually gets under the seal and causes it to leak. Clean out the dirt and many times it will stop leaking.

Take a piece of old 35mm film/negative and carfully work it down the fork leg under the seal.....then slide it around the tube and pull it out. When you wipe it off you'll see grit in the gear holes if there was any.

That's something I tried for the 1st time this year just before going to the Scrub.......it lasted until ....FBAIII blew it out for good!

p.s. why is it ALWAYS the one on the rotor side?

Route? Beats the ever living shit out of me! I reckon mix it up between forest roads and fun stuff. I got nothing to do and all day to do it in.
where is Crane's?

yeah, yeah, yeah, just north of your house, right? ok, well, where do you live??

That's a great idea. I just got the news seals and oil last night, I don't think I'm gonna have time between now and Sunday to get them in though. I'm gonna give your trick a shot, thanks Kevin.

ra2bach, cranes store is on highway 9 North of Dawsonville about 1.5 / 2 miles passed the Lumpkin Co. line. At the corner of mill creek and HWY 9. Oh yea what kind of Ducati do you have knobbies on? Just looking at you profile and noticed you don't have a Dualsport listed.

Sweeeeet! I have been thinking of a new used dualsport. Maybe he will let me test ride it. You never know what you might find a deal on. Kind of want to keep my options open. I can't afford what I want ya know. The LC4 is on its last leg.
