Hi Guys,
I should have been there with you on your adventure yesterday, but I am stuck here in Brussels Belgium turning planes around.
I was trying to go out to Waterloo where Napolean was defeated yesterday after work. I bought a train ticket for a 30 min train ride, but noone could tell me which train to take, or which platform to go to.......No love here. Everything is closed for their 2 month summer vacation.

By the time I made it back to the apartment I popped a frozen dinner in the microwave. As I was eating it I thought it was a little unusual. It was beef tongue in a nice red sauce with mashed potatoes.

The more I travel the more I thank God everyday that I was born in the USA.

You can buy beer in the McDonalds here though

Is anyone riding next weekend?
I should be home Friday afternoon. I need to spoon some new shoes on the DRZ, but I should be ready to go. I need to ride before I leave for my 2 week dualsport in Colorado starting on the 18th.
Cheers,
Doug

Didn't anyone tell you.... Willy-B is the Official Photographer for us DOGs.... And you were with the best of the best yesterday....

Hope to meet you soon. Wish I could've been with you all yesterday. Although from the way it sounds, I might still be trying to get up that hill.

Glad to hear you had so much fun on that hill with your kick starting ...

I am sorry you don't think you'll be able to make it to the vortex this thursday. It was really great seeing you last week. If you get all of your stuff done, I may ask you to marry me. You'd make a darn good wife.
Oh, I forgot... you are over the marrying thing and I'm not the marrying type.

that must be one nasty hillclimb. i remember once resting at the top of a particular hill watching my buddies suffer below when up the hill came a quad with handlebars broken completely in half. following him, a man on a motorcycle with a young passenger casually rolled up the hill with little apparent effort. several other bikes followed with little trouble and near the end a boy of no more than ten years ascended the climb on a small blue bike using not much more than half throttle. sure did make me feel bad. i didn't know what truly rough terrain was.

So Darnell, which one was you dude? I reckon that climb is easier if ya growed up riding it yer whole life. I think we all freaked a little when dude on the quad rolled it back on top of himself. I thought he broke his neck! Then the guy with the kid on his lap. That killed me! I love moments like that.

It was indeed a good ride. I will post some pics up when I get home. Got the laptop right now.

FBA4? I don't think so. Hauling 20 bikes up that fucking hill would kill us.

Y'all be sure to make it up here for Rebel Yell 5 though...coming up in September. Check it out under Upcoming.
