After the bacon buffet at Unicoi State park resturant, I spent the rest of day trying to catch up to Coats - who thoroughly caned that 950.

Route took us on lots of fresh new pavement up through Highlands to Cashiers, up to the Parkway, back down 28, over to Suches and home. Yesterday was 400+ mile day, it seems like we did at least 300 miles of twisties- a gas stop and a photo op.

There aint no lollygaggin' riding with Coates

That's an understatement if I've ever heard one.

It was some good eating for sure, but my coworker suffered severely today.

Wanting to explore around Ellijay area on Friday
Probably going to look around the side roads near Fort Mountain and see some side roads off Cashes Valley ad such.

Any suggestions?
Feel free to join, but we are meeting early and trying to be back around 5-6pm

Some of us went small thumper dual sport riding around Lake Burton area yesterday: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=639537

Yes, Coates, we trailered our little bikes up there but sure were glad we did when they were landing on folks! Papa Smurf did the flying actor impression!

I saw you guys come through downtown Persimmon yesterday.

I didn't have time to get out of the office and throw rocks before you went around the bend..

I forget why I didn't show up, it was a good excuse though.

I've had a weekend getaway planned for this weekend for awhile and my hall passes are few and far between now that the girls are getting a little older, so I have to pick and choose when I take off now. We'll get together soon enough though buddy, it has been to long.
