Yes, but there were nuts and bolts left over and now the engine is making noise.

We don't talk about the red headed step child.

I prefer to talk about the Green machine - running perfect.

Red bike

I'm hoping the red bike is Ok. I've not had a chance to pull it apart again. It sounds ok when running at ideal and being drivin around town. After running on the interstate it sounds a bit loud - hope I'm being paranoid. I'm going to check the oil basket on both bikes - hope it helps.

Red bike also has new handle bars I need to install.

Also got a list of shit to install on both bikes, just been working too much on the house

We'll be checking out Tray Mountain, Chimney Mountain, Corbin Creek, Indian Grave Gap, maybe Mill Creek/Wildcat and/or over Bald mountain to Young Harris, just not sure how far we will get. Depends on how many roads/trails we spot that are not on my map! We're leaving home about 9-9:30 and meeting in Helen about 10:00 Saturday morning. Probably ride untill about 3:30 and then head on home before the temp drops too much. I'm working out the planned route this week.

Have any of you been up above Helen? Can you recommend anything not to miss? Anyone can feel free to join us if you want to, just let me know here and we'll work it out.

Would like to ride Canada Creek, that's on my radar along with the Nimberwill Gap, Winding Stair Gap, Rock Creek, Nootootley Creek, and other FS roads over that way.

Keep On Riding...
I can tell you some good roads near Helen. I'll get my map out later and hit you up.

I will already be in the area, so I can meet anytime. I just prefer the sun be up since it is supposed to be in the 20's Sunday morning.

Sunday?

Guys- I reckon I'll suggest a kickstands up time of 10 am at Dale's BP in Suches on Sunday the 28th? If folks wanna get breakfast there, that should give them plenty of time, and hopefully allow guys like Coates and Billy that have to be back early at least a few hours of ride time. I'm hesitant to start much earlier b/c it is gonna be COLD

What say you, fellow DOGgies?

Totally works for me. I am still on for breakfast if anyone wants to meet beforehand. Just let me know.
