I have a set of intercoms but did not have them on the helmets this trip. We stopped quite a bit for pictures and stuff so there was plenty of time to talk. Usually with the intercoms he tells me to shut up so he can listen to music. The window toward the bike does not zip down but the curb side does and there is a vent. The top also comes off easily. The kids like the top on during cooler weather.

We made it... I pulled in my driveway at 3:30am... lol. You know when you are riding with someone on a KLR you have to carry zip ties and duct tape! lol. We did have a blast riding with y'all. We ended up riding the Cherohala Skyway and Deals Gap in the dark. I will say it was fun but I would love to see the Cherohala in the day time! I was blown away how many people we saw on the dragon in the dark! I hate that Your buddy dropped that 990 such a sweet bike! oh well now it has some character!

Ktm World did a valve adj last week. It won't need svc for awhile.

It's been properly cared for, all maintenance preformed on time.

It'll be close to stock when I sell it. Gonna list for $5500 obo. Pm me for DOG pricing if you're interested.

I'm gonna put a proper ad together tonight.
You need to hold on to that until Christmas.....

Going to throw this out in the fleamarket in a bit but anyone local interested in trading a small street legal dual sport for an 03 KX 125 two smoker? Less than 5 hours on top end (Weisco piston and Athena Racing top end), new plastics and graphics, levers, tires, and newish chain and sprockets. Been a great little bike but the kid wants to hang on to his YZ125 and YZ250 and unload the KX to possibly look at riding with Dad on a small DS.

Here's a blurb from a DNR email, that's a lot of deer collisions;

Caution Urged on Roads to Avoid Deer
SOCIAL CIRCLE, Ga. (10/15/2012)
With an estimated 50,000 deer-car collisions annually in Georgia, leaders of the state’s wildlife, highway safety and insurance agencies are advising motorists to be cautious of increased deer sightings this fall.

They didn't say anything about the other Fall hazard..Black Walnuts.

What about head on collisions with forestry service employees? I met several who were traveling at high rates of speed today on Chattahoochee River Road, Trey Mountain and Helton Creek. Then there was a guy that looked like Santa in a Tahoe on Bob Creek Rd, but that's a different story.

Speaking of Bob Creek does anyone know if the gate at the end were open does it carry all the way over the ridge to FS 256 or does it dead end in a clearing up on top?

I got mobile zip ties and duct tape... You'll have to drag it down to Acworth to get the welder.

I don't have a welder, but if you need help, I don't live far from there.
