Hey Mark, I started to show up for this ride, but really had a bunch of stuff around the house to do. Would have been good to see ya, and meet some of the new DOGS. I did a nice wheelie on the way to work today, just to keep Cobb county in check.

Y'all missed a good ride yesterday. We even ran into Kirk as he was pulling out of Whissy in his Toyota Canary. Always good catching up to you, Kirk.

For anyone that cares, they gravelled the SHIT out of the fs road that goes by the fish hatchery, from pavement all the way to FS 42. Lots of ambulance/fire truck/police activity at that intersection yesterday but no people anywhere around. Really bizarre. Hope everyone was all right. I felt like I was just trying to keep the 950 upright on that road yesterday. The Heidi rear and TKC80 front combo are working great for me though.

Just visited ACME rider supply again on Saturday to get a few things. Was once again reminded what an incredible job he does there. He is a details freak when it comes to motorcycles supplies and gear. Always sooo helpful. Wanted to give Andrew and ACME a shout out. Some sources state that Lamar means "famous land" or "land famous" in Old German and Old French, so if I went by my middle name, I'd essentially be Famous Land Land or Land Famous Land. Either has a ring to it, don't it? Or I could go with one of the other accepted meanings of the name and be Of The Sea Land or The Sea Land.

My aunt and I share it as a middle name.

If I have a son, I'm naming him Swazi or Newfound or Cleve or ...
