I was so cold when I got home from riding yesterday, I think I might have damaged my internal organs!

I've never had any heated gear, but I'm getting some. I determined that in the last hour of the ride. My buddies say the most important thing is a jacket liner. That your feet and hands tend to stay warmer when your core is warm? Today, I called Andrew at ACME. He's about to have a big sale on his heated gear - fyi.

Do any of you folks use heated gear?

Absofreakinlutly. Jacket really helps but your hands will be the next thing that gets cold. And if you are on the road all day you can count on your toes being next. I'm rocking warm and safe jacket, firstgear gloves from Andrew, and Gerbing insoles.

I haven't yet gotten into the heated gear, but I'm sure it would be nice. Still rocking just pants and jacket with liners, and a good pair of gloves with liners. About the only part of me that freezes is the tips of my fingers on my throttle hand. Doesn't matter what adjustments I make to the guard on that side I still get wind on the tips of my fingers.

These rides at 11 o clock at night are getting colder though...and the night time rides with the rain we had last week sucked.

i had a heated vest & gloves alonnnngggg time ago, ran across them a yr or 2 ago

when i put the vest on and zipped it up i couldn't breath

i must have rode alot in rain back then & it shrunk

i don't know what else could have happened

ps. it was awsome back then (didn't have anything with 4 wheels little on a heater)

I can't live without heated gear. I been using Warm and Safe for years now. Just for your info, Warm and Safe makes all First Gear's heated garmets.

That was a great DS ride BD- really like exploring that section of the state. Getting my 950 dialed in to do some more of that exploration.

Every time you look at anything square shaped you think "Could that be a pannier?" You like humvees and hate H2's You've gone into an Army Surplus store to look for riding gear.
