Sounds like he was just an order taker and everything had to go through the sales manager who wasn't there at the time.....

If you are going to buy a KTM, buy it from one of their dealers that has had the line for a long time like KTMWorld. Those guys in Mayretta just picked up the line.

KTM World also has a store in Alpharetta. They are both great shops.

I'm thinking about dual sporting around either Helen or Rabun County tomorrow. Anybody riding in the area?

I don't suppose any of the ADV's around ATL would have an extra new KTM 950 carbed air filter handy? I've got a new one that will be here Tuesday but was hoping to put her back together over the weekend so I don't have to rush for a trip next weekend... if you have one I'd be glad to give you a new one when mine comes in this week. :) PM me if you have one you wouldn't mind giving up for a few days..

Yo! I'm in Winder if that helps.

Anyone here from Dalton/Whitfield County riding in a yellow Jeep, pulling a trailer with what I'm pretty sure was a brand spanking new one of these (in red) on it yesterday?

Dang, I thought my clutch and brake fluid reservoirs were in precarious locations.

Anyone heading across Fort Mountain this weekend, beware of lots of gravel on the road, some still in the tracks. Deer were everywhere this afternoon too. Between Lynne in her car and Tyler and I on the GS, we counted 16 different unique deer. I guess when they're out, they're out.

As a matter of fact, she hit one at low speed coming into the cabin week before last. Cracked a piece of plastic and left deer hair on the front tow hitch on her CRV. Went back to look for it the next morning and couldn't find it, so either wasn't killed, or run off and died.

They are a new dealer to KTM and probably not exactly tuned in yet to that product, the market or the customer. That experience is not good for you or the brand. Want a KTM?- Call - KTM World, they will look after you. You absolutely cant go wrong with an LC8ADV- great do-all machine. It only took me 9 bikes to figure that out.

Thanks Andrew

Finally had the time to stop by Acme & pick up a new Tractionator. It was way overdue. Cheaper than I've found 'em anywhere else, too.

On the front will be a new Supercross-spec Pirelli SpeedyR scored.

Ready to ride for next weekend!

TWO looks like it is getting closer to being ready to open.

Road report -

Doublehead Gap/Newport from 52 is to Dial and on to 60 is clean.

Very little (but spotty) gravel on 60 between Coopers Creek and Suches.

Quite a bit of gravel on 180 over to 129.

Blood Mountain over to Turner's corner is pretty bad w/LEO presence today, particularly on the south side of the mountain. Lots of bikes out, so I'm guessing a few skinned asses today.

FS roads surprisingly dusty, but Winding Stair up to 42 was fun, fun, fun.

Perfect day for a ride.
