It was in perfect running condidtion as of last year--a great bike with low hours (see video in my signature). Suthergintelmen, sorry for the bad break, dood. Do you still think it was from your friend running it with the choke on? Or something else?
Pete

Edit: The frame is probably worth $750.... Ga street title!

No worries. Not sure what happened, but hoping a new owner with time and skills will make some use of it - GA tagged xr600r is good news.

Hey there fellas, greetings from MI.

My son is new to King's Bay Naval Sub Base and we are looking for a good shop around there (St. Marys area) to do some maintenance/swap tires for his Ninja 650r. (I delivered the bike to him and put the nail in the coffin of the stockers riding 1400 miles in two days)

If you have any recommendations we'd much appreciate it, thanks!

No worries. But I'm not sure I adequately demonstrate the bike's potential

Thantos-
In case no one else chimes in, you might try one of the North Florida threads (Sandbox) since Kings Bay is basically outside Jacksonville, FLA. Probably more options available to him there.

Thinking about riding my Husaberg up to Rick's Rendezvous in a couple of weeks. Being pretty much a plated dirtbike I want to avoid the highway as much as possible (no interstate at all!). Will be going from Cartersville, GA to Hampton, TN. Trying to route a path between the two. Have what I think is a decent route of what looks like gravel from Hampton to the BRP down to northern Asheville area and one from Cartersville up 411 to Chatsworth over to Blue Ridge. Not sure how to connect them or even if that would be a good way or not. Will have all day Wednesday to be there by hopefully Thursday morning. Anyone have any ideas for a route?

Don't have to ride the bike but my truck is acting up and drinking fuel like no tomorrow. Also there is limited truck parking at the event and I would like to see if I can ride the Berg long distance (for me) like that.

You are welcome to leave your truck here in Clayton and ride the good roads the rest of the way.

I knew that would happen.
Good luck with the "Twins"
Thanks Pete.

Now I'm in trouble... What will I do with the extra space in the garage?
