Just wanted to say hello since I live in Atlanta and head north most of the time to ride...........I've been riding an Weestrom for a little bit but haven't ventured too far off road because I'm typically by myself and would hate to get into a sticky situation. Would it be doable to tag along for a group ride sometime to get my feet wet? I rode dirtbikes as a kid and an XR600 in highschool so I have some offroad experience, but it was 10+ years ago now.

Welcome to the inferno Shannon! Most of the guys in here are eather too damn old to ride or injured. Sept' the KLR/ Tenere riders... they bore us to death.

That's a big stick Clay, but that ain't nothing, Michele and I got locked in last weekend and had to drag the Tenere under a gate. Don't try this at home.

Some asshole locked the gate behind us. I thought it was a Forrest Service road. Apparently it was private land.

Dang, that had to suck. Wouldn't be terrible on a small DS to do that, but man dragging something like the S10 or similar would be no fun.
