Anyone planning a forest service road ride on MLK day?

Nothing planned, but I'm off and probably would join if something happens.

It wasn't that bad. Started out a little chilly, but warmed up. I started sweating and had to peel off some layers.

After the last two times I planned a ride and ended up not going I swore I'd never plan a ride again.

That being said, I'm planning on heading out Monday at 10:00, being at the entrance to the Forest Service Roads by Noon. I will ride "my route" which includes a visit to the top of Hawk Mountain, then back to the "main intersection" then down FSR that parallels Chester Creek, on the asphalt for a few miles, then back on FSR 42-3 back to the "main intersection" and back out the way I came in.

I may explore - who knows - as long as I'm feeling "decent" I am going to go but with my health, nothing is certain.

And if you're not in the same boat from a health point of view, then consider yourself incredibly fortunate and ride as much as you can while you can.

Ride safe, ride often, enjoy it!
:)

Home Depot has a 20" Husky Duffle bag that is listed as being water Resistant. Best thing is they are 64% off their normal $25 price, so they are $9.00! It's hard to find anything worthwhile under $10 these days, but you could always make use with a good Duffle bag.

They are in store pickup only, but you can see if stores near you have them. - http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-20-...050/203840275#
Sweet! I need to pick up one of these.
