95% of this photo. Mine is tucked away in the corner of the garage.

72-73 Kawasaki H2 750 Triple 1 owner
Fully restored 5 ish years ago and a garage queen collecting dust since.
Dad redid everything and rode it a handful of times and we just kept pushing it aside to ride other bikes. Went through engine, wheels, suspension, paint, some chrome, etc

The bad:
Front caliper needs rebuild or slap a ninja ex500 brake caliper to actually have to real stopping power on it

Interior of tank has surface rust from old gas left in it.

Needs a new battery

May address a few of these, but she kicks over super easy and I hate to sell, but really have no use for it.

Anybody have an interest in this project because it's probably at the back of the line to sell. Figured an interest would get me to drag it out and start cleaning.
Come on RC...nice light-weight standard bike, with great suspension and brakes, mellow power, that things begging to be dual sported!

Seriously, my Dad bought one new in '72 and commuted on it for a couple of years. He said the front tire had very little wear on it when he sold it. He then bought a SR500, which he rode for years. I spent countless hours on the back of the SR exploring dirt roads with Dad. I know I rode with him a lot on the H2, but I think I've somehow blocked those memories!

Whats scarier is the modified ones.

I've seen chambered and wheel swap versions that STILL win at the track over and over.

Guess i'm digging it out soon.

One of my GT750s was raced at Daytona

I worked for Bryan Kinney at Proline Motorsports and he got me interested in road racing. I bought one of his old GT250s and goofed around with it when it wasn't blown up. I took his old GT750 he had raced and repurposed it for the street. Unfortunately I left the petcock on one day and flooded the cylinders. When pushing it to clear the fuel from the cylinders my thumb slipped off the kill switch and set it on fire toasting the wiring harness. I never did get it back together and eventually my brother in law wound up with it.

Here is a good writeup on Bryan. By the way the "race van" in the article was an old fish delivery van. He said they smelled like fish the whole season from racing out of that van...

Mr Nash...

Final park budget has not been determined and the corresponding decisions about what facilities will open and when will be made at that point. These will be made public at that time.

If the bike doesn't need a new battery when I get home today I might be up for a ride. I'm sick and tired of being in Michigan...

Dawson Forest was completely closed Monday. Gate at Shoal Creek closed, gate at normal entrance closed. Prolly had to do with the previous snow but man,,,,, by Monday it was basically gone. I think the DNR guy just figured the roads would be soaked and rednecks would tear em up if left to their own devices.

Gate was open last night. Did the water crossing on the 450 and got SOAKED. It was a bit higher than I anticipated. I'm sure the guys in the 4x4 got a kick out of that.....

I am spooning on my new TKCs this weekend.
Leaving Florida this morning...... and without a Cabana Boy.

The good news is the sun is shining in North Georgia and the snow has melted.

Anyone going to the Supercross this Saturday?
