Last I heard, Locust Stake is supposed to reopen April 1st. Anyone know if that's still the plan?

Looking for a damned good bike mechanic. Need one that is more than a remove and replace type guy,,,,, need one that is into heavy modification. I understand that non-typical stuff takes time and time is money. I want someone that will work on my bike as if it were their bike. I'm in the Cumming/Dawsonville area and would prefer somewhat local.

What kind of bike and what kind of mods? Just bolt on aftermarket stuff or actual fabrication of stuff you want to do?

Thanks for posting that JustBob, I'm just a few miles from Dallas so knowing a good mechanic is nearby is great news.

XR650L, major engine build, suspension build/tuning, maybe fuel injection, maybe even light fabrication yada, yada so not really easy bolt on type work which I could do anyway even with me working 10-12hrs a day/6-7 days a week.

I do appreciate the tip but I'm really looking for someone closer. I used to go to Hyperformance Cycles but even that's too far and he wasn't into doing the type stuff I need done.

Paul, I still plan on bringing my KTM690ER in for an inspection in early July before I take it to Colorado. Expect you to do whatever's required just like you did the MultiStrada 1200.

For the engine--- send it to Cycle Wizard or mcma111 if he has time.
CW has done more on the XRL engine than most and he will talk you away from that FI idea probably. mcma111 is a wealth of knowledge as well
