Only people not riding KLR's can show up . It's in Hot Springs Nc, and is the 18th of may thru the weekend.

Here it is. Last year I think around 125 ADVr's attended from all over, I'm gonna guess it'll be a little larger this year. All different types of bikes will be there.

I'm planning on attending. There's prolly even a coupla groups leaving this neck of the woods you could ride up with if this sounds like something of interest to you.

Yup, Jen's whip hurts...but I like it! Actually, she is out of town to Kentucky for the Rolex. Me and her pop and Rev Ray are doing the guy's thing. They are both really cool, ask Lucky. Reverend Ray is only a Rev because he got his license in order to marry us so we didn't have to fuck around with priests and churches and shit. He was a wine salesman before he took a new job with Leather Medic. Anyone whose up for a slower paced street ride is welcome to join up with us.

Patti- you ought to make the Rendezvous. I reckon I am driving up with Top Dog to deliver the shirts. We are gonna haul the KTM and the XR up there. Supposed to be some good dualsporting in the area.

Dang. It is the one weekend in May I have a prior obligation (concert tickets) I can't cancel. Otherwise I would be joining you all. Is it too far of a drive to plan on joining you folks for just Sunday's riding? I'll need to pay more attention to this event for next year. Please plan on taking your usual photos so I can be sure to see the fun I missed!

That fucken KLR left me stranded tonight. As soon as I would let off the throttle the bike would die. Still had lights, thank Dog. It would start (barely) if I gave it some gas, but would die again if I let off the throttle. I limped it to my inlaws where it is now resting in the garage.

We fucked with the choke cable a little bit, which seemed to help but it still seemed like it wanted to hesitate. I think the cable was a little snug under the tank. Reckon Saturday we'll take the tank off and check it all out.

Any ideas? It was dark as a muther out tonight so I didn't get to play with it much.

Did it give you any warning?

I'm gonna guess this bike had been sitting a while before you took ownership? If that's the case, when you have some light, I'd go through it (fuel related) top to bottom.

Also, there's some pretty sharp fellows over in thumpers who'd be more than happy to help.

Good luck with it and I hope the issue is just something minor.
