this was a short cut thru road off of rock creek rd near the pocket.
its west of calhoun. north of rosedale & east of armuchee. good riding,
just short dirt roads. the battery problem was northeast of gore &
southeast of summerville. that was the GOOD SINGLETRACK near the
corpsewood place. google corpsewood trion. LOTS of H20 coming out of the mountain streams sunday.

Heads Up D.O.G.'s

Little later notice than what I would have wanted, but, it's in your face.

Never mind your sisters wedding that weekend, your soon to be bro-in-law is a jack ass... cancel the trip you had planned to the Bahamas and never mind the cruise.

Be there or be square.

Lead a Dual Sport ride. You think you could handle that without breaking some FF's leg?

It sure would help a fool out.

Thanks for the kind offer.

Willy B when I offered to help I was expecting you to say "Na don't worry I've got it covered dags" I can lead a ride if you want as long as Flux agrees to take over when we leave the gas station in Suches aka Lucky strike style.

I was attempting to describe what ADV is to a non riding friend of mine and came up with "ADV is like fightclub, except we are pussys"

Now that's funny... But remember the first rule of ADV... we do not talk about ADV

We have a TAT trip coming up in 3 weeks. I was planning on just taking the strom, but after playing in the mud this weekend on the FS roads with my wife on her XT, I was really missing a more dirt worthy bike. I've been wanting a KLR for a long time, but I think even a DR650 would work.

Looks don't matter, just needs to be reliable and run well and not need a lot right now. I don't have enough time to go through the bike to fix a bunch of little issues.

I know this is over your budget but it is a great deal from a great ADV'er.

Got a call last night from a buddy in Florida who knows of a shop selling an XR650R that is titled in FL, street legal and it is set-up for DS with mostly being ridden on pavement. I think he said it was just a little over $2k. Still out of your budget, but I dont know that I would take something in the $1500 range across the TAT.
