Anyone up for a Monday spin on some gravel? Looks like the weather should be more reasonable.

I wish I could, but going to be making some money. Take offs? If this part time gig last's till spring, and I can find a sucker, we might just have to talk about on of those 450's.

How are you liking the new job so far, Mike? Good to hear the six two five will be back up and rolling soon.

It's alot different than what I'm used too, but I think I will get used to it quickly. It's nice only riding 4 1/2 miles when it is below freezing for sure.

Good deal!

That brings back some memories for me. The company I'm currently working for was 3.1 miles from my house. I rode every day, rain, shine, sleet or snow. I would even come home for lunch just to save some dime. Those were the days. They relocated. Now I'm commuting two miles short of South Carolina each day.

Hopefully this gig will last as long as you need it to and enjoy that short commute meantime.

The short ride is a full time gig. The part time is almost Downtown.

The ride to SC is better than the unemployment line. I wish we could have talked Sunday. Im still waiting to hear the State Patrol story.

No kidding. Thanks for the reminder on how things could be for me.

Remind me of that when we have time. It's a damn good one. Spoiler: It wasn't 15 minutes later and I have a "county mounty" encounter to tie in with the GSP one.

It all worked out in the end and no one went to jail.
