Highland Park

I'll be at Highland Park on the 690 with some guys from work tomorrow. If any of you FFs will be out that way stop by & say hi. One guy's driving a Chevy 2500 and the other guy an avalanche, but the 690 ought to stick out

Who's going to be riding up around Suches this weekend? I'm planning on leaving the Ellijay Wal-mart at 10:00 on Sunday and heading up to TWO for lunch. I'll be staying off the pavement as much as possible since the cops seem to be cracking down this year.

Anyone headed out tomorrow?

Anyone headed out tomorrow? Wife and kids (and dog) all out of town and I get some very rare guilt-less 'where does that road go?' time.

Did the BMW 2-day enduro course (on a 1200GS) last week. Awesome course. Haven't been out since and am looking forward to seeing if I learned anything since the last time (when ragrep and dags pulled me out of the 'pond') ;)

Not looking for any RedBull X Fighter action but would love to get out and get dirty if anyone's headed out.

Might head up to TWO in the morning and see whats what. Love to join in on a ride if anyone's got any FS routes in mind.

I Love the MTNS & RIVERS.
I just gotta go to Colorado. Load up my bike in my F350 & make like a Fetus .... Head Out as my buddy Gilmore says.
Yes, I'd be a Trailer Queen going that far
You gonna love Colorado Brown. Just be aware that trips to the Rockies are usually addictive. Invest in some good maps (www.latitude40maps.com & www.natgeomaps.com) and study them before leaving to make the most of your time riding. A week burns in a hurry out there.

MB, you better not even think about planning a ride out there without me.

I'm glad to see that you have finally fully integrated the color coordination of all your race equipment/apparel.

Thanks Darnell. I'm already addicted & I hadn't even been there yet.
I've just been wanting to go for 10-12yrs.

Gas was my biggest expense last year. I mooched a couple of nights from the "tent space list" and you can wilderness camp for free almost anywhere out West. I paid for one campground and one hotel out of 8 nights.

Fido, you interested? I could probably keep up with you in a 45 mph speed zone.
I am still working on the correct bike for this one. As it turns out this could happen this year. You know I am up for the rider buddy! I hope to have a better idea in a month if it's going to happen.
