Wicked For those interested in the TE610

I contacted Jeff at Hall's some time ago. The tanks are in, but the last piece of perfection for this bike is not yet in. Jeff agreed to look into and if possible solve the kick start issue! He told me he ordered parts from an older model and is working the issue. I think if he knows the demand for such a kit, might be supportive!

I got

dirt bagz on, skid plate, big tank, stabilizer coming w/Renthal fatty ... maintenance so far is easy enough, with a kick starter - sh*t! What more do you want?!? Much better'n a DRZ on the street, 6 speeds, slightly better off road or more . .. Really - isn't this thing as close to perfect for a dual sport 600 class bike as we're likely to get in this market?

I'm impressed..

The tanks are in stock? I didn't want to call and pester them until I knew for sure they had the tanks in stock.

Not sure, only time will tell. Mine was a lemon; monday morning or friday evening bike, call it what you want. Nothing but gremlins and fit and finish (quality control) was the worst I have seen to date.
I hope my 06 was a one-off botch up but I ultimately lost faith in mine and the romance was abruptly over.
Not raining on anybody's party but you asked if it was perfection. On paper at least, mine was.
