Jet

Simplify - match shaft or tooth pick will do the job. Just puch it into the centre of the jet and it'll hold it for retrieval.

Laugh Thanks for great advice!

Just checked my plug and the hole didn't seem blocked at all, but was changing the sprocket and thought I should check it. I used very sharp pointed tweezers to pull the blighter out.. - well suggested whoever it was!
Cheers!

Word of warning, never play with the clutch lever with the actuator cylinder pulled off from the push rod, unless you really want to replace the cylinder......

Where?

I'm having shift issues that seem to be related to engine RPM's and bike temp. Where can I get an oil jet for my 04 950?

If you have an '04, it should have a .30 oil jet already. My '03 did. Otherwise, the part number is: 60038029200

clutch pushrod and oil jet work together for passing lubricating oil into clutch.

my late '03 early '04 had a shiny (i.e., too FAT) pushrod, and an oil jet with no hole whatsoever. bike shifted rather peculiarly until i updated to the narrow pushrod and fitting a 0.03" orifice oil jet.

also, i have seen a few splintered (broken) pushrods, so i would perform a thorough autopsy if problems persist.

I did the Feliciani clutch mod, but left the #30 in. Also fitted a FP shorter lever from black dogs shop. A vast improvement in clutch action and feel. It feels as good as the clutch on my GasGas 300. Incredible, really different. Feels like a new clutch, well worth doing. Clutch slave is an Evo.

When you say you did the Meoni clutch mod K2m - is that the drilling of the basket? I ask because Ive heard a couple of different versions??? Also how were your ramps when you pulled it apart?

Cleaning mess can be avoided...

Instead, I bought a handful of new jets (.50 mm). Replace and discard the plugged ones.

That's it just drilled the basket, but did not go up in jet size. Ramps were fine, but two of the pins on the gear selector wheel were working their way out. I punched them in and then center punched the surrounding alloy to spread the metal...... and hopefully hold them in.

Did you have any 'symptoms' before you did the mod - or was it done for the improved oiling?

There was one thing, it made the clutch feel not right........ It was slow to feed out, not real slow, and did not slip, I thought it was the double seals of the Evo slave. I even cleaned and lubed it to no avail..... now it's perfect........ But the standard KTM clutch leaver is rubbish to your hand. Those FP (short) leavers are worth the money.
