Sorry forgot to respond

I did get one good picture of my quick jet. The thread was ~ who's tired of cleaning the clutch jet. I'll go look for the link. I was going to offer this for sale and gave away one proto-type which didn't seem to work. The dimensions were touchy and without a screw machine the fabrication was slow. If you're really wanting to try it I'll see if I can make a workable one.
Let me know. The concept is the jet is about 1" long and the jet hole meets a cross drilled hole about .25" up. The other end is slotted (or hex) and just below is an O-ring. The plug that filles the hole is drilled thru and the oring seals in that hole.

Well i took on the challenge today and removed my clogged jet and cleaned it.

Heading out on a four day trip Friday, so hopefully the recently noticed clutch drag will disappear after opening up the little hole witha strand of speaker wire.

Thanks to all for posting tips and tricks.

I removed the oil jet yesterday. It took 30 min. It was plugged solid, I couldn't get anything though it. I bought a finger drill kit off the Mac truck and put a .0225 hole though it. The noise went away the pulsing though the clutch lever went away. The down side to this is I can't find neutral and it grinds going
into gear. The new jet is on its way. Thanks for all the help.

It seems that enlarging the oil jet always makes it hard to find neutral. I live with it as I'd rather have more oil to cool the clutch, judging by the colour of the metal plates it can get pretty hot when riding the dirt.

Hey guys, I was told oil pressure is not too high on that bike.

So I suggest do not go too far on increasing pressure leaks on the lubrication system.
My 990Adv at 10k kms showed some initiation of wear on camshafts, which indicate poor lubrication. My mech says these bikes when hot raise 2.5bar at 6000rpm while Ducattis raise 6bar.
So any additional or increase on lubrication orifice reduce oil pressure.
Thought I should mention it.
Cheers.

I bought my 60 jet in a shop of automotive parts.
Here in Italy it's quite easy to find a this kind of things because Dell'Orto it's an italian brand and all the old car with carbs where using these kind of things.

With jet #60 the bike goes like sharme, no issue at all, but all my friends who goes in Africa change it with #100 for sand and HI temperature and when they are back the change back to #60. So long no issues.

I believe that you may even ask that jet to your KTM Delear as it should be availlable. No idea of extra costs. Mine was 1 or 2 ....
