That is indeed the large JCwhitney box and for what I paid I love it. Its rugged enough and it comes with the baseplate so no problems.

$25 Mermites Anyone?

So I have been doing my Sherlock Holmes thing and found the best priced Mermites in America !!!

Anyone interested in Mermites at $25 each (without inserts) and $25 shipping?

I have just ordered mine....I'll let you know how good they are when I get them...but I am assured they are in good condition with the usual paint scuffs.

He has four left.........any takers?? (PM Me)

Bearing in mind that I have been offered Mermites at $85 each plus shipping at inflated rates...these are a BARGAIN !!!

Grab 'em FAST!!!!

Just got mine back together, had to paint the fairing after I fixed it and black is easier than trying to color match the silver.

Also added a new chain and 16 tooth front sprocket, Shinko E-705 tires and a Deka ETX15L battery.

Here she is, 32,000 kms and counting...

I bought this '09 three weeks ago for $5099 with 9 miles on it. Since then I've been riding that puppy like I stole it! 1390 miles of Southern Indiana rides so far, including twisty ribbons of asphalt, high speed gravel, hill climbs, motocross track, flat track, water crossings of all varieties including one yesterday that was almost seat deep! And I'm just getting started. This bike has handled everything I've thrown at it with machine-like precision.

Here's a picture of her with my goofy butt posed behind.

Check the thread out in the Vendors section here on ADV as well. Ian's a top-notch guy to deal with and I love my fairing from him. The lights (I don't even have the HIDs), the wind protection, and the dashboard area for gadgets: they're all vast improvements over stock KLRs.

They're worth it! Heck, the customer service on its own is worth it!

And, since this is a pic thread:

I simply can't say enough good things about this company. The fairing is great quality, easy to install, has better lighting, wind protection and is way cooler looking. The price isn't bad considering that you get a plug and play set of hella lights, fiberglass fairing with adjustable windshield and a wide variety of colors. The guys there are really nice too. Get them while you can though, when I bought mine the guy said he was thinking about stopping production.
