Going to south Texas.

Ummm, sprocket is down to the nubs. In the middle of nowhere Texas.

Psyclops and I both had a KLR tech day down in Texas. He does it differently than I.

Right-on, thanks man

Looks like I'm routed just like that, I adjusted the spinner to give more slack, that seems to have helped. the cable's due to be replaced ASAP though, it's about toast (was recently seized-up)

thanks again

Choke Cable Routing

The choke cable runs down the LEFT side of the frame, the throttle cables run down the right side of the frame tube

No pics easily found but it's sure in your KLR600/650 OEM shop manual

Haynes/Clymer are kind of sketchy YMMV

A fellow ADV'er loaned me his KLR to finish the Scrapheap Adventure Ride into the Strezlecki Desert (to Cameron Corner)... after the magic smoke escaped from my $1000 Honda XL250R.

The magic air escaped from the back tyre on the KLR... so we whacked in the 18" tube I was carrying and off we went again....

I bumped into another ADVer a couple of days ago. He said he has a '91 painted almost identically

There's one around here too. I like to call it Turd Fergeson . Belive the official name is Turkey Trots. Don't ask.

I am really digging that paint job Tumbleweedracer! Would look really nice in the desert.

Here is my ride. Nothing special, but I am a biologist and I use her to collect scorpions throughout the southwest! Anyone out there in Las Vegas that wants to join me??
