From a ride tonight around some area lakes. This bay called the "black Pool", as it drops to over 100 feet a bit out from the dock. Used to get some decent panfish in the reeds here... this an iphone shot.

When I lived in Lake Charles, (La.) I knew people who ate okra for breakfast.

But they would eat boudin for breakfast, too.

Heck, they would drink beer for breakfast at times.......

It has gone from a nice place to go to to a tourist spot in only a very short time. Good Morning America is to blame in its naming of the area as one of the most beautiful places in the country.

We dual sporters will enjoy about 50 miles south of this area in the Mainstee National Forest where thousands of miles of single and two-track can be found. The M22 loop is really nice if you are wanting to find some nice places for food and beautiful lakes.

Screwing around with some photos from last year. Packed for 8 days of riding, I have learned that less is more.

My interpretation was a enthusiastic +1 which means he agrees. I like my setup, tents, pads, food, and everything is attached with out bulky cans or a tank bag. This is a picture thread anyway, no need for words.........

CO 25 lead us to the Gunnison River and you can see our camp-site-to-be under the tan awning in this photo by the river.
