What's the secret? Armor-All dip? A light spray of floor wax?
There's a few tricks you can do. One is just to wipe off the plastic with a microfiber cloth real quick to wipe away the dust. The next is to de-focus the camera just ever so slightly so that all of the imperfections disappear.

Photo effects can solve that issue too.

Thanks, I'll have to check into that, just seems like I'm not getting accurate readings, may have to go to another method (secondary gauge). Who knows, I may have screwed something up during the last valve check.

Ordered some farkles, skid plate, KLR tail bag and tank bag, 16 tooth cs, RoxRisers.
Puut a battery tender wire and heated gear wire in today and added this.

The bike is looking sharp- I was wondering what brand and where did you purchased the windshield extension?

Thanks!

I have the "original" Twisted Throttle version. It is an improvement but not a complete fix for me. Wish I would have sprung the extra bucks for the new larger version. Also, just get the upper portion to add to original windshield. I bought the whole unit. The lower portion is the same size as OEM. My 2 cents.

It is a little pricey, however I have used it on three different bikes so it was a good value for me.

Here is my 08 KLR after a little visual make-over. It's a green bike under the PlastiDip. My shrouds were scuffed up and the bike was looking a little tired. I decided to take a little inspiration from the Rolling Stones and paint it black. What do you guys think?

That looks great. Good idea with that type of paint.
