Gracias por la invitación, me encantaría, pero no creo que pase por allí en el futuro cercano. I'm running out of vacation time to make a trip like that this year...

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed reading it. There should be a new one for after the New Year...

Hey I've got an idea, maybe I shouldn't sell the Hawk but rather put it into NM storage as well. You'd take me along right and not get upset stopping every 90 miles to refuel

You'd have to stop in every gas station you see in northern Mexico to top it off, because you may not even get 90 miles to the tank out there... Sounds like a great idea...

I can see these great rides - Las Cruces to Creel in three days, Creel to Durango in two days, Durango to Mazatlan in two days...

Maybe not...

Bump.

If one can't actually be in Mexico, the next best thing is a cup of coffee, a nice chair, and great threads on travels in the Promised Land.

Even if its the second or third time reading through it!!

I just realized that we are missing a very important smiley in the asylum. We need one of a junky shooting Mexico trip reports...

Not to worry, MotoAventuras is meeting in Valle again for New Year's (we, again, were trying to go to Oaxaca but those FF whine that it's too far and they don't have a long enough kitchen pass to attend... ) as soon as I get back to the land of cold and rain (not to mention snow ), I'll put up a new ride report, you'll have something new to read next year...
