Don't know much about it. A gift from an "admirer"

I no longer have this -- it was lost or stolen during a move - but my all-time favorite watch was this Cartier tank watch from the 1970s. Delicate and tasteful.

I've never found a watch since that I can truly tolerate wearing. I suppose I should go find another Cartier on eBay!

I've always kind of wanted to get a Ti Breitling Aerospace, but I don't wear watches, so it would really be a waste. Cool watch though.

I have a Rolex my Dad gave me on my 18th, used, it was his, that looks a lot like this one, but I could swear he said it was a Submariner:

I'll have to go and look now. Maybe "Oyster date GMT Master II" is the same thing? I know virtually nothing about it. I wonder how I would even know if it was real? I know he said that before he gave it to me, he had the bezel replaced and had it gone over at a watch place, so maybe it's real. I've thought about hawking it. Again, I don't wear watches.

@Spagthorpe;

The two-tone bezel was and is a GMT exclusive. If you have it, it could be worth some bucks. This 1957 version sold for more than $20,000.

One from about a year earlier just sold at auction for $100,000.

Also, the one you have pictured is not authentic.
