Probably more useful for taking someone's pulse.

Btw, if you're interested, Baselworld 2013 just kicked into high gear, and the WUS sites will be following them pretty closely for the next few days. Always a slew of hyper-ambitous concept models.

Was in the neighborhood and stopped in Scottsdale to visit Arizona Fine Time - they sell the Grand Seiko line as well as a number of other fine watches - they are an authorized dealer and seem to offer reasonable prices.

I got to try on the Spring drive Diver, the GMT SD [external bezel, functionall like the Rolex GMT], and the SnowFlake. Oh man, am I in trouble.

Actually the wife liked the SnowFlake, so I have that going for me.

Worth a drool if you happen to be in the area, if you visit tell Joe that I said hello.

I forgot to put my watch on my wrist this saturday morning (I almost never forget it).

I wasn't at home, was on a short trip to Montreal with a couple of friends. Forgot the watch in the room and I was feeling like...nude.

My GF was shopping for a a bridesmaid dress with the future bride in the big mall and there was a jewelry/watch store beside the dress shop.

So guess what...Well, I bought myself a(nother) watch.

Here it is: a nice classy Bulova

OK...not only because I forgot my Seiko this morning but you get the point I guess. It will fit nicely with my brand new suit BTW.

Has an MSRP in the $700 neighborhood. A to spendy for a work watch for this guy.

I meant G-Shock in the generic sense. That is a very nice watch.

More watch stuff!

Picked up a few Zulu straps

This watch arrived the other day;

A take on the Heuer Bundeswehr chronograph;

It doesnt look too bad but feels a little cheap, the bezel in particular feels plasticky
I think it will look better with some scratches so I consider it a beater

It uses the same movement as the Seagull 1963 reissue, which I also ordered

Got a green Zulu for that one

Me too. Not in the market for a $700 G-Shock under any circumstances.

Nice Polaris homage! But I heard nothing really good about these "Landeron" watches. Can you tell us more about it?

What about this Bundeswehr homage? Any link? Price?
