Not a pic of my watch, but its exactly like mine. I bought a Rolex GMT Master when I lived in Johannesburg in May of 1985. Its not the GMT Master II which came out in the early 90s, but the original GMT Master (Notice that there is no "II" after the term "GMT-MASTER." The used watch people call this a "Vintage GMT Master."

). Its been my "daily wearer" ever since. Like the watch in the pic it has the gold and stainless jubilee bracelet, with the black face, and the black bezel with gold numbers.

Been wearing one of these for about 5 years, now... I rarely take it off.

You can get them made at DisneyLand... they have a watch store on the premises and you can buy ones already done or talk directly with an artist and have him half sketch what you are thinking or pick from a book of the artists work. Each artist has different stuff.

There are 2 types you can purchase/order:

Monochrome (black on white) $125
Color $500

You mean the "extra" release that expands the band for a wetsuit's sleeve?
I haven't had any issues with it, but the first time I popped it by accident it got my attention.

I’m a bit of a watch nut myself. What gearhead can’t appreciate the precision little motors in a mechanical watch? These happen to be my favorite auto’s in no particular order.
A photographer I am not.
