Istanbul (TR) - Meteora (GR) and back.

Hi advriders!

First days of January 07 I took a two day trip to Meteora in Greece from my hometown of Istanbul in Turkey. I'd like to share some pictures with you.

Meteora is true GS country!

Krauser K5

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your comments :)

The topcase is a Krauser K5. I recommend it strongly because
a) it survived a high speed sliding without any problems
b) it's totally waterproof, I have put it through some serious tests ;)
c) It has space for two helmets. Even if you are a solo rider like me, it means alot as you need to stow your gear away when walking around.

One downside, which people against Krauser repeatedly points out is that the the connection seems loose, whereas in reality it only sounds loose.

It really is a stable top-case, which can also be used as side-cases.

GREAT pictures . I'm hoping you have more that you will share with us.

I currently have a foreign exchange student from Istanbul living with me. He will be going home every June and I hope to make the trip with him either this year or next year (probably next year).

He has a friend who sells motorcycles in Istanbul and he thinks his friend will loan me a bike to do some riding when I'm over there. I'll hook up with some of you Turkish Advriders if I find out I will have a bike available.
