Scorpa T Ride, 1/2 Trials 1/2 Enduro Bike

Check out the video of the Scorpa T ride, 1/2 trials 1/2 enduro. http://www.scorpausa.com/?trigger=stv
Looks like it would make a good woods bike. Not sure how it would do on the desert whoops.

Nice toy ...But me thinks the video is much more about that rider than what he's riding. He's another of those Pfeiffer guys. What talent!

This bike has alot of potential. A single bike for the casual trail rider and the weekend novice trials rider. A great bike to take camping etc.....I have a SY250 Longride and love it, but this has me thinking. A great trials bike for those of us that love trials but ride the 3 line. A great bike for weekend trail riding or when working events........Hummmmmm

I might have the sell my SY250 for this one...

May not have the fork angle and steering lock as a Trials bike for turns in the sections. You'd have to really lay it over to get it to turn sharp.

Anyone who knows the real scoop with Scorpa ever read/post here?

Anyone know of a *useful* Scorpa dealer in the US? How difficult is it to obtain parts for their trials bikes?

Not a single one of the half dozen dealers I've tried or their US importer ever replies to e-mail queries about the TY250F long-ride or the T Ride. None of the dealer websites I've seen so far is recent - except of course for all the photos of the imaginary bikes.

Seems like the bikes are just marketing bullshit - one-offs they build and then pretend their going to sell someday. They've been advertising the long-ride for something like two years now but they don't reply to e-mails asking about the availability... that's some fairly deep b.s.

Trying to decide if I should just go ahead with a vintage trials bike (Honda TL) and take the time to restore it or wait for one of the imaginary Scorpas.

Check out this guy.

Bruce is the real deal. His family built and owned the Sipapu resort. The home of this summers WF.
Bruce has a passion for Trials. He is the nicest guy that you could ever hope to do business with.

Best part is it has a WR250 engine so parts are everywhere!
