a Renazco would be even nicer, it's only a little more $$ than the seat pad

I think I need to pick one of those up for a ds trip this weekend. Ive' been riding a lot the last couple days and I forgot how bad the RFS seats are.

Yeah, this is a bandaid so I can put some breakin hours on my engine after Travis rebuilt it and installed a 540 kit. Ill be building a seat concepts seat this winter.

Seat Concepts in Suede. SC seats are great! The suede is a luxury that I went with for a specific purpose, but isn't necessary for most people.

Nice, how much more was the suede? And are those tears on that rock under your bike?

If you like torque and less shifting you will like it.

The suede is an extra $100 over the price of a regular seat and cover price. If it's a $100 upgrade, shouldn't I have also received the standard vinyl cover?? There should be a price for the foam base, and two separate prices for the vinyl or suede covers IMO.

Question suede vs. vinyl

B-rod, does the suede make you ass sweat more than a vinyl seat or is it cooler? How about when it gets wet does it dry? I imagine it would stay wet for a while where vinyl you could dry off with rag.

Yep, this thing is a tractor, no matter what situation I find myself in I always have a little more to pull me through it, great in technical stuff in low gears and smooth power delivery. I also switched out my carb for a 41mm FCR from an 06 SX... the combination of the two really woke this bike up. Great bike, more than Ill ever need. With my MXC tank and my Acerbis 25L I will be able to dial in for local day trips and longer hauls as well.

When I had the Renazco with the MECA kit on the suede breathed a lot more than the vinyl on my 640 does, really looking forward to finally getting the damned bike back on the road after waiting waaaaay too long for electrics etc and planting my ass on the suede Renazco that's been patiently waiting.

As Skibum says, and while I appreciated that feature on my Renazco on the old 640, it does breathe better, but that isn't why I went with the option. I went with suede for winter ice racing. When you whack the throttle on the straights, my ass would slide aft on vinyl, but the suede has extra grip. When it gets wet, it dries remarkable quickly. I'm not worried about mud or dirt discolouring it. I figure if it's good enough for a cow, it's good enough for me.

I bought a Dynojet kit yesterday, can I just swop the jets out? Or does it need to be dyno tuned?
