Getting ready for another one
This year the wife and I were going to trailer the XT's out to Colorado and ride for 2 weeks but with gas prices being what they are we decided that we would stay local, after all I don't live too far from some of the best riding in the country
So taking some lessons from last years ride we are going to take 2 weeks in July and ride around the Blue Ridge from the NC-VA line down to the Tellico TN area as well as N Geogia. We are going to see just how cheap we can do this as an experiment. I figure we will stay in some of the MC only camps every now and then, most are $20 for a night for the 2 of us and have hot showers. If anyone has a list of primitive national park campsites or just plain old places that I could just camp along a river somewhere I would appreciate you letting me know where to find them. Also any cool dirt roads or trails that we could incorporate into the trip would be a welcome addition. I know of a couple of places near T.W.O. in Georgia that we can camp for free in the woods as an example. Thanks!

http://www.honda-motorcycles.co.nz/b...=8&ModelID=126 Although, IIRC, the "postie" bikes are slightly different from the stock CT110. I'm keeping my eye out for a second-hand one on the NZ equivalent of eBay. |

CT110s are still availiable in NZ I think?
Yea, the farm model has a low range lever, so they can really crawl along slowly. Got a cool ride coming up in a few weeks, The Cape Caper Challenge. Auckland to Cape Reianga and back over 3 days. 1200kms. +400 for me getting to Auckland and back. Bikes are not allowed to be over 200cc, more than a $1000 or be able to cruise easily at 100kph. ![]() Raising money for Outward Bound. Gonna be an absolute hoot!
