Hmmmm...I'll look into them.......when folks say they are wider....are they saying, away from the frame(left to right?) or front to back.....or both?. I presume you use the OEM "spring" and pin?.

The Chinese foot pegs I installed on my Honda XR650L were both wider, and longer than the stock foot pegs. However, I'm sorry to report that when I checked both D2Moto, and eBay, I didn't see the Chinese foot pegs currently being sold for the TW200.

Ctx200

G'Day folks,

Just purchased a CTX200 and am chasing info on which long range tanks will fit. Have heard that the DR650 tanks will do the job. Any ideas?

The CTX 200 doesn't exist in the USA, there are more of them in Australia than anywhere else. There are a few in South Africa but not many. Haven't you had any luck asking on an Australian forum? (There must surely be something like the SA wilddog forum.) Then again, it's an AG bike, farmers probably don't want long-range tanks...?

I LOVE this thing!!!
Yep, great bike! There are a lot of mods you can do to extract more power from it. The way I see it, if I want more power, I'll buy more bike. HOWEVER........I did uncork the exhaust with a 1 1/4" hole saw. Made that thing a climbing machine! I didn't gain any top speed but it made it start easier in cold weather (the only reason I did it, gets cold here and it was a bear to get started), and the icing on the cake was that low end torque. Have fun!

Not sure if this has been posted but here are links to a ride report of a couple touring through Africa (Cape Town to Cairo) on 200cc bikes. Nice reading with a lot of detail and great photos.

I'm a big fan of minimalist touring. These pictures are from my fall ride in Michigan. I've lived here my entire life but never explored much of the state. I had only been to the Upper Peninsula once before this trip. This trip was 1,638 miles over 5 days with plenty of back dirt roads. Maybe this winter I'll take some time to write some ride reports about my two rides this year. I'm not one much for words, but thought I would share some pictures of the good times I've had on my KLR250. Enjoy the fall colors, Fred.

Beautiful scenery. Almost makes me want to visit "that state north of Ohio."
