Such a simple statement that often gets overlooked.
There are so many options out there and equally as many creative people that you are bound to find something that works.

A 250 too big for you?

I saw two of these today, a bit too minimalist for me, but...............

What are the grommets on the GPSMAP60 for?
Looks like it may be to attach a Sun visor or maybe rain shield?

How are they held on? Glue.. if so, what did you use?

Technically my KLR is above the 250cc limit for this thread, but it started life as a 250, and is still just as light and small as when it was a 250.

For me, a simple, light bike is just a joy to ride. It's not about image, it's not about top speed, it's about fun. My small bike can take me pretty much everywhere, including interstates and some singletrack. It always puts a smile on my face.

larry31 there part of the touratech mounts the mount comes that way the metal brackets bend around the gps but you cant see part of it cause the rubber grommets holds the gps in place and keeps the metal from scratching the gps if you want the modle number of the mount by touratech let me know or i can take a better pic of the whole unit if you like to see it

Thanks. I don't need pix's, your explanation answered my question.

I use a different mount for my GPSMAP60, which I put on my 90 NX250.
It's detailed here... http://www.powers31.info/NX250_Instrumentation.htm

I thought it would be a good way to mount a Sun shield to the GPS.
My GPSMAP60 is almost impossible to see in bright Sun.

Seen this? I don't have one, but I've been thinking about getting one.
