The bike, fully fueled, with two loaded panniers, two external pannier bags, rear 90-litre luggage roll, tank bag, accessories, plus heavy rider wearing several layers of clothing, motocross boots, helmet... Not much short of 500kg I should think!

I read your report, fine. As I wrote to kktos I think, those tracks with a 1200GS and more alone, I should not be able to do it. Respect.
When you cross at Tillouguite, was the bridge in place ??.

Whilst the 1200GSA is brilliant for some parts of the trip--I did over 955 miles/1530km yesterday--a lighter bike would be a distinct advantage on some pistes.

Tres beau mon ami!! Merci beaucoup.

Well, my french is somewhat rusty for sure. I can speak it better than I can write it.

I was wondering; how much is a "cheap" hotel in Morocco?

Hi
All hotels are not so cheap, but in our guide book we chose the most typical, the cheapest and where the owner was local. Morocco is not a rich country, so we thought it was better if our money was in the pocket of owners of small businesses
We didn't look for luxury
