I have been looking over old threads for rides this year. Wow, I sure missed a lot of details, when I had dial-up. It was so slow, I only read the basic input and not day by day one by one!
Bryan, what direction are you going Memorial Day weekend? "West or North / Chad or Jim"

Been to the Black Hills already - scenic riding, but a long haul for a repeat. Looks like I will be going north for the good times there.

Question Enduraid

Bump for Enduraid this weekend. I don't see many of the regulars on the list for this year. What's everyone up to??

I'll be there again this year. I think this years format where you have to haul your gear from one campground to the next may have scraed off some riders. To me, it just makes it more of an adventurer.

I'm sure that did scare off some people which is too bad. I personally like that idea but its not for everyone. I wish I could attend but I flipped a coin on wether to do the Big Woods spring ride or Enduraid and it was the Wabeno ride this year. I hope everyone has a great time this weekend!

Enduraid

Wish I could make it. The BMW national is in Wisconsin this year and I'm going to be vending there. Only so much time in a summer and something had to give. I'll be on Chad's gravel road ride. Have a great time at Enduraid. Ernie

Ernie,

Is the BMW rally open to all brands of bikes? I would like to sit in on some of the seminars and test ride a 1200GSA.

Yes its open to all who would like to attend coming from a former BMW man. Beamer riders are very open-armed fella's who like to ride, relax, tell some stories and tip a few back

Rustic Roads ride, Sunday 1 July

Been coordinating a little with fireman88 earlier this week. I am going to take him on a tour of 11 Rustic Roads in SE WI that will get him a Rustic Roads patch. We are going to meet at the Wal-Mart in Delavan, WI at 0830 on Sunday and will ride around SE WI from there.

If anyone wants to join in, let me know or show up at Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart is on Hwy 50 near the intersection with I-43 across from Lake Lawn Lodge and the dog track. Delavan is a few miles NW of Lake Geneva.

Bring a camera. Rules are we need yer pitcher with yer bike in front of the Rustic Road signs

I'm totally bummed. That's a hop, skip, and a jump from home and I'd love to go, but have a full, non-motorcycling, day planned. Maybe next time.
