ROAD OF cow BONES!

Just because BMW riders go on Around The World adventure tours, doesn’t mean us KLR riders can’t go on our own adventures tours.

This ride took place all over th town of New Sharon in Maine.

You think the Road of Bones in North East Russia are bad!? Ha!

Like the road from Yakutsk to Skovorodino in late summer, this muddy road goes on and on!

Like the plains east of Ulan Ude, New Sharon has it’s own grass lands!

And forest!

Russia’s Lake Baikal may be the largest body of fresh water in the world, but Kimball pond is the largest body of fresh water in New Sharon!

Russia may have the Volga, but New Sharon has the Sandy River!

The bridge is closed! Ha! Just like in Russia!

Yes, this is a parody & humor thread. Nothing against Maine, it's a beautiful place. :)

You like the stock tires so much that you are actually going to replace them with....... stock tires?

IMHO, they sucked, and I only got 1,800 miles out of the rear!

Unless you got them for free (new take-offs) I am confused.

I would have thought Rossiya would be insulted. Being compared to the People's Republic of Maine!

Spasiba!

p.s. I adopted a girl from Russia, spent a month in Moscow in the winter. They are a VERY tough people!

Yeah, but let's see you attempt to eat some goat balls, like poor ol Charlie and his crybaby companion.
That was a cool bike show though.

Those stock tires almost look like Kings tires to me. We used to run Kings Tires all the time on our Transalps. Great tire for the money. Seems like you could get around 6000 miles our of the set, and all for around $100 for both front and rear! Just a bit more agressive than the stockers.
