What they call mountains, we used to refer as foothills. What they refer to as hills wouldn't even rate an "up"! Hell, in Ca. my driveway had more elevation gain that you can find within 100 miles of here!

Went on vacation in Texas some years back. Everyone said "go out to the hill country!" so we drove that way. We kept looking for it, not knowing we were already driving around in the hill country for like 2 hours before we realized we were in it. They should call it the "not quite perfectly flat country".
