Face razors/shavers?

anyone ever use the old school equipment?

I'm sick of paying so much for those silly 5 blade fusion replacements...

There's too many choices to choose from....

If you want to make shaving an "event" go for it!

What's wrong with a beard? I have a $20 beard trimmer that doesn't need replacement blades every few days, and am happy as a BP exec burning incriminating records.

I just made the switch to one of those Merkur adjustables. Don't bother with adjustable, cause the lowest setting seems to be out far enough. It's a nice shave, but it don't like face bumps.

I'm still getting the hang of it, prep seems to be key, and a soothing aftershave helps after the fact.

I just got offered a job, 2 levels in status below what I was (maybe even 3) and around 25 to 35% less pay.

after 3+ months of sitting home I'll take it!

Thanks for the link. I just went back to my mug and brush and was just looking at razors. My old Gillette is toast and none of the modern multi-blade POSs blew my skirt up.

You have been shaving with marketing.

I just use inexpensive Bic disposables, I think they are two-blade.

I have shaved with the older replaceable single blades but don't think it worth it. YMMV, I do not have heavy whisker growth.
