I live in Keithville, Shreveport suburb, and mtn bike around the Eddie Jones Park area - there are thousands of acrs of land marked "DMAP" that are miles and miles of fire roads - do any ya'll know what the DMAP areas are?

Great info for the area

Those DMAP signs are what the state gives hunters that are participating in the state deer management program. Everywhere you see a DMAP sign it's private land. Don't be surprised when you get run out of there at the least (charged with trespassing at the most) now that planting season is here.

Scott

From now on I'm putting you on my ignore list while I'm at work. Excellent reporting as usual. I really would like to make a trip down there to follow you around for a while. Thanks a lot for taking the time to explore and make the routes, I know it's a pain sometimes. You're close to the top of my "advriders to meet some day" list.

Wasn't my day for riding... Speeding ticket, Scott got a flat, Hit and killed an old couple's dog. After all that, my heart wasn't in it. Some great riding, but still soured a bit.

Here's some keepers from the LOT today. Scott will follow with more and a beautiful video...

Thumb Good Reading!

Two questions:
1) When will you do a web site?
2) When are you and your brother doing the TAT?

I say we ban cameras from the trail, I never come out looking like i know what i'm doing

Like Adam said, with the pair of tickets we earned earlier that morning and seeing the dog die it just wasn't the best day all around. The riding was good but it was hard to get into it after all that happened.

And just when i thought it couldn't get any worse, KERPLUNK! right in the deepest, most watery section of red mud. Thanks Scott, thanks alot...
