Next Ride
Man, looks like you guys had blast over the summer. Too freakin hot for us fat boys.
Did someone mention a ride in November? I'd be up for one about then... Maybe as soon as Oct if I don't have any other conflicts.
Someone throw out a date and lets put this thing together!!!

I will watch this thread too. Newer middle-aged rider here, want to cruise easy backroads. I need lots of realtime before getting tricky.

Most of the trail is set on easy backroad gravel (what your DR is made for) the "tricky" parts are avoidable, but are what makes the ride more fun!

LA backcountry trail? hummmm..... got anything that connects from the coast at Port Arthur, then headed up to the TAT in MS? If all the pieces fall into place, I might be doing something like that, after first going up the texas coast line ...

Farthest south and east I have gotten has been Leesville....
