yep
I have found some hid projector lights with high and low beam and they are currently whizzing across the ocean to me I'll bolt them up to my wr250 and if they last i'll use them for the dr's fairing.

So Mick, tell us, does the bike get confused for a Honda much?

Does that mean it's going to be as reliable as a japanese bike from now on?

Or that it might also spit up 3rd gear (sshhhh, I am not supposed to say that in the DR thread )

I was tempted to swap a few things round with the dr but I thought you might notice the old painted wheels and bodged up drz suspension on the 690.

Your safe here mick we all know that your on our side and that the only reason you ride orange (red) is that you can take ktm down from the inside.

Dr650 build up

Got this months off road explorer mag today, was hoping to get some good info from the dr650 build up story . They say that they lengthend the dr rear shock to give it more travel but there was no actual specs on how it was done. Iv'e had a good sticky at the rear on my 650 and found that the linkage only travels another 10mm before it hits the frame. Has anyone increased the travel on there dr650 rear, if so how did you do it.

2009 DR650 up for Auction 29th Oct

Just posting if someone is interested.
Doesnt look like much damage..just looks like it been laid over on the right side. One of the pics from the back looks like the frame under the rear mud guard is bent a bit.

I've registered as an observer on the net so will be interesting to see how much it gos for.

Makeshift fairing

What say you fellow DR Riders is this ugly or acceptable??

HMMMMM ..... I am undecided, it seems to do the job with some more wind protrction up to 120KPH
It is a soft 3mm plastic bolted on and heated / bent to shape
